What is the difference between terms of Due on Receipt, and terms of Net 1 [day]?

Answer: Basically nothing. Both are a form of open account terms. Neither term of sale requires the customer to pay for goods on delivery. In my opinion, the advantage of Net terms is that most accounts payable departments more easily understand the terms.
