When my boss left the company, I was told I now reported to the Vice President of Sales. I see this as a conflict of interest. Comments?

Answer: : We agree, but as long as you have expressed your concerns and document carefully the 'credit' decisions made by the Sales V.P. and in particular his or her overrides of your recommendations, you will have done a lot to protect yourself if things do not work out under this arrangement.
