How can I improve the working relationship between sales and credit?

Answer: Remember that sales and credit are not enemies. Disputes are not personal, they are just business. Avoid arguing with salespeople because doing so entrenches them in their current position. Never talk down to salespeople, and do not use terminology intended to confuse rather than to clarify. Offer options and alternatives, if and when they exist for a particular customer.
