In your book, you suggested calling and sending the debtor a FAX about
a past due balance, and doing so the same day. This seems like overkill.
Isn’t there a chance you will upset the customer by doing so?
Answer: Yes, there is always
a chance; but in a cost-benefit or risk-reward analysis I believe it is worth
the risk and I would only recommend doing so when the past due balance is
substantial and therefore worth the time to do both.
