My collectors are not assertive enough. Do you have any suggestions?

Answer: The short answer is to reward them for positive behavior and punish them for behavior you want changed. It is not intuitive or obvious how assertive a collector should be and he or she must be taught about how to confront customers about past due balances with tact and tenacity.
