How do I avoid calls from vendors such as collection agencies soliciting my business? I get several calls a week and they are time wasters!

Answer: I do not think you can screen out these calls. Therefore, I suggest an approach that works most if not all the time. As soon as you get the gist of the call, tell the caller you are not interested in trying out a new collection agency, and without waiting for a response thank them for their call and without waiting for a response hang up.
