A business owner of a corporation signed a personal guaranty. Two years later, he sold all of his stock in that business. Is he still liable under the personal guaranty?

Answer: Guarantees are usually valid until revoked. If there is nothing in the guaranty that causes it to automatically revoke when the guarantor sells his or her shares in a corporation, then the guaranty remains in full force.
