Answer: : I know I am going to hear from readers about this answer, but here goes: There are simply too many variables to make long term forecasts about DSO and A/R meaningful. For example, a lot depends on sales volume and for many companies correctly projecting sales or meeting sales projections is a hit-or-miss proposition.
