CMA Business Credit Services is now offering Webinars on a wide variety of topics. These programs can be customized to your company's specific needs, or CMA members are welcome to sign up to attend any of the regularly scheduled Webinar series offered.

One of the most frequently asked questions is:
What exactly is a Webinar?

A Webinar is an interactive, web-based seminar that enables you to attend an educational seminar in the comfort and convenience of your office or a conference room. CMA's Webinars are an interactive experience involving teleconferencing and delivery of data using the Internet.

CMA selects instructors base on their demonstrated expertise on the subject matter and on their presentation skills. Each course is one hour long. The topics presented are selected based on input from members themselves. A Webinar series is normally taught one hour a week for either three of four weeks [but this schedule can be modified or customized as required].

The advantages of Webinar training include:

  • Their low cost

  • Their ease of use

  • The fact that attendees do not have to travel off site to attend this type of training

  • The minimal system requirements [basically all you need is a telephone and an Internet connection]

  • The fact that these presentations are interactive - instructors welcome and encourage questions from attendees throughout the presentation which enhances the value to the attendees

  • And, if your company or your industry credit group has enough people interested, CMA can customize a Webinar program to address specific questions, problems, and scenarios facing your company [or your industry credit group] and present the Webinar at times that are convenient for your group.

For more information about the Webinar program, please contact Mike Mitchell of CMA in Southern California at [800] 541-2622.
